About.

I’m from the Rhondda Valley in South Wales, though I spent almost a decade in London after moving there in 2014. During that time, I worked with agencies like Publicis London, Cedar Communications and Sunday – shaping digital content, building strategies, and learning a lot along the way. In 2023, I came back to Wales and continued my work with Orchard on the Creative Wales account – bringing the skills I’d gathered in London back to the place that first shaped me.

Between 2022 and 2024, I taught on the MA Marketing and Digital Communications course at Falmouth University – starting as an Online Tutor in Creative Digital Storytelling, and later guiding students through their dissertations as an Associate Lecturer. It was one of the most grounding things I’ve done.

I’ve always been fascinated by the way social media, and the algorithms behind it, shape the way we communicate, create, and connect (or disconnect). In 2021, I completed an MA in Political Communication at Cardiff University, where I earned a distinction for my dissertation on platform governance, misinformation and the tricky business of regulating the internet.

Outside of my work, I care deeply about community, connection, and culture. I was a UN Women UK Delegate at the 65th Commission on the Status of Women in 2021. Before that, I produced live radio shows for Boogaloo Radio, working with music legends like Mike Smith and Rob Owen.

My work.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a social media manager, staff writer, and digital content producer – crafting copy for leading UK travel and food brands, developing multi-channel campaigns for universities and government agencies, and managing platforms during national campaigns.

What ties it all together is a focus on building genuine connection, helping brands speak with purpose through creative, emotionally driven storytelling that actually resonates.

Most recently, as launch editor and strategist for Creative Wales (Welsh Government) at Orchard, I wrote, edited and commissioned all the web copy, while shaping the social strategy to position Creative Wales locally, nationally and globally. I still freelance with them on a regular basis.

If you’d like to see my portfolio or chat more about my work, I’d love to hear from you.

My previous clients include the Welsh Government (Creative Wales, Visit Wales, Trade & Invest), the London School of Economics, Tesco, Hammerson PLC, Purina, Mandarin Oriental, and British Airways.
